The PC-100 microelectrode puller is an improved glass capillary puller with automatic dual-mode function. It can process slender glass injection needles for microinjection and micro glass electrodes for patch clamp technology. According to research requirements, glass capillary tips larger than 10 μ m can also be drawn. The pre drawn glass capillaries with different pore sizes can be used in fields such as bioelectrophysiology, microinjection technology, microfluidic chip technology, printed circuits, and cell capture.
By using the method of vertical gravity to thin the heated glass capillary, glass capillary tubes with an outer diameter between 1.0mm-2.0mm can be pulled into needles with a lower limit of 0.1 μ m at the front end.
